July Fourth

  • Lunch with Santa:   A very special event featuring Santa, Mrs. Claus retelling the Nativity story, crafts, games, puppet show, and food.
  • Christmas caroling:  Annual caroling to the sick and shut-ins during the holidays can be a very uplifting experience.  Smiles, joy, and tears of appreciation say it all.
  • Christmas Eve Service:  Open to the public, an evening candlelight service of "Lessons and Carols" is always a memorable occasion.  You can certainly feel love and peace.
  • Every Christmas an individual can designate a poinsettia in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one.  They are displayed at the Christmas Eve Service and then taken home.
  • For Easter an individual can obtain tulips or lilies in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one. They are displayed at the Easter Service and then taken home.
  • Open to the public, Easter services consist of a Palm Sunday service with palms, a Maundy Thursday remembrance, a Sunrise Service at Hingham Harbor, and a regular 10:00 a.m. worship service.

  • Mrs. Claus' Warming Station (in conjunction with Hingham's Christmas in the Square): Relax with a free cup of one of Santa's favorite soups or sip on Mrs. Claus' hot chocolate or hot cider.  Children can sit on her lap and confide their wish list.
